Who we are

Education is not a stage of life. It is life itself.

Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Berlin, Shiloh Group of Schools grew from a small teaching practice into a connected ecosystem of schools, institutes, language cafés, research labs and career houses. We hold that learning begins before school and continues long after graduation.

Across Europe, the Nordics, East Africa, the Indian Ocean Islands, the Middle East and North America, our work joins academic excellence with research, culture, leadership, technology, languages, teacher development, family learning and global citizenship.

Our philosophy

Learning should form character as carefully as it forms knowledge.

Character

Education forms who a person becomes, not only what they know.

Creativity

Original thought is taught, practised and protected.

Compassion

Knowledge without empathy is incomplete.

Leadership

Every learner is prepared to take responsibility for something.

Critical Thinking

We teach learners to question well and reason carefully.

Innovation

We test new practice in classrooms, not only in theory.

Cultural Intelligence

Learners move between cultures with fluency and respect.

Entrepreneurship

Learning should be able to create value and work.

Global Citizenship

Belonging locally, contributing globally.
